Garlic Vinaigrette

There is a saying, “There is no such thing as too much butter for a cook, too much vanilla for a baker, or too much love for any one.” I would like to add, “there is no such thing as too much garlic for a Sicilian.”

I’ve lost count of the number of garlic vinaigrettes with not enough garlic. So here’s mine.

Ingredients

Whip all this up in a blender, medium or medium high speed and you’ll get a thick and creamy garlic vinaigrette that garlic lovers love!

Where we got our ingredients

Amazon is our leading affiliate program, so we do actually check out their products. We purchased the MCT oil from Amazon, but our local co-op, just six miles away, has the Virgin Olive Oil we’re pointing to in the link above. I purchased that same apple cider vinegar, but at my local co-op I buy it by the case. We also get the dijon mustard from the local co-op. And the BochaSweet we order online just like everybody else. Of course the garlic we get from our co-op. As for the Celtic sea salt: our charity provides it to people who need it. There was a super shortage a while back and the price on Amazon peaked at $69.95/lb. We got it to people for $20 a pound. Sometimes with free shipping. So, if you need some, write me and we’ll dicker. The Celtic Sea Salt link is an email address to me. Just tell me the cheapest you’ve found it. We nearly always beat that price unless you’re buying from our supplier. During the pandemic we bought some from Norway. It was that hard to find, but since we do focus on health, studies everywhere back the use of pure, natural, mineral salt, especially one with a perfect potassium/sodium ratio. 1. My daughter made an orange vinaigrette using similar ingredients as you have here except in place of the apple cider vinegar she used the juice of one squeezed mandarin orange.
