Creamer

Even if you’re not on a diet, this is a great low carb creamer with MCT oils, guaranteed to lift your energy and not stick to your fat cells. That’s what MCT oils do. And this is dairy free and vegan friendly.

All of our affiliate programs come from companies we trust that sell products we’ve used ourselves. Nearly all the products we promote have been tested by our volunteers. If we find something to be crap or nonsense, we tell you. If you wish to support us, you may do so by supporting the companies in our affiliate programs.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • ½ Cup MCT oil
  • 1 Cup Swerve Confectionery Sweetener
  • ¼ tsp Stevia

Directions

Whisk together and bring to a rolling boil while stirring. Reduce heat to medium low, just enough to keep a slight bubbling going; the type of bubbling that goes away when you stir and comes right back when you stop. Heat for 25 – 30 minutes. The concoction will be reduced by half. Make sure you whisk occasionally.

Creamer

This is how the bubbles should look when you stop stirring. Not a rolling boil.

You can flavor it anyway you want, but we added 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract.

It’s wonderful.

Why Make Your Own?

Most commercial coffee creamers (the artificial ones, not real cream) contain crappy oils, such as canola or soy oils, or the worst of all “partially hydrogenated” oils. We found one with coconut oil, but with a whole bunch of chemicals and artificial this and that. When you make it yourself, you know what’s in it. And everything in this creamer is real and not detrimental to your health. To read more about the oil we use, go here: Medium Chain Triglycerides.
